whole idea was to conceive a metaphor of the Argentine Patagonia, so that took me to propose four different collections representing our landscape: Mountains, Woodlands, Steppe and Shore. Each collection is also catalogued according to the blends: Montaña (Mountain) includes the traditional teas from camellia sinensis, Bosque (Woodland) contains the tisane infusions from dehydrated flowers and fruits; Estepa (Steppe) is the collection for the flavored teas, and Costa (Shore) contains tisane infusions, but from traditional aromatic herbs. The project also proposed additional packages to the actual brand behavior: individual envelopes for restaurants and spas, single blend packages, tasting packs, wooden chests, and point of purchase displays. The whole project also went beyond packaging including tea menus and advertising. Featured at Lovely Package _ ES. Proyecto de Graduación Se trabajó en el rediseño de una marca de té, Patagonia Finest Teas. La propuesta tiene como propósito sentar las bases de los tres niveles de estructuración de la identidad de la marca: el axiológico, el narrativo y el de superficie (Andrea Semprini: El marketing de la marca). El discurso se pone de manifiesto a través de la conjunción de la leyenda “finest teas” y el slogan “south sofistication”. Se busca una conexión entre el producto de Argentina, con el resto de los productos del rubro a nivel internacional sin perder de vista el origen; entonces se conjugan elementos gráficos que se asocien con la idea de sofisticación y de Patagonia. Se buscaron referentes que permitan ir más allá de las concepciones culturales que cualquier extranjero pueda interpretar del origen, sino algo único y característico de la Patagonia, que resulte lo suficientemente “supremo”, por encima de cualquier interpretación social. Tal concepto viene a ser la naturaleza misma, la Patagonia en su estado puro, la casa de cuatro distintos ecosistemas: costa, estepa, bosque y montaña. Dichas divisiones se vuelcan en la tipificación de las líneas de té, clásico, de hierbas, saborizado y de frutas deshidratadas, a través de patterns (texturas visuales) que representen dichos espacios. No se trata de que cada árbol o animal se reconozca de manera enciclopédica, sino mas bien que se entienda la multiplicidad de vida en nuestro suelo, y que los productos en conjunto, conformen una metáfora del origen.
